Health information privacy is of growing concern to patients using the Internet to communicate with their healthcare teams including biotech and pharmaceutical companies. Zoomedia's rigorous approach to security ensures our services are provided within the guidelines outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). There are two components to HIPAA: security and privacy. All Zoomedia services meet HIPAA security standards while privacy requirements are established within the context of each project ensuring the resulting site or application is in compliance with each clients’ specific privacy policies.
