Zoomedia, Inc. is a leading healthcare interactive agency providing creative, interactive and strategic services to support its clients’ communications needs. The Business Development Associate is responsible for supporting our sales team and responding to Requests for Proposals. This position works closely with multiple departments to develop client proposals in support of Zoomedia’ sales team efforts. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Business Development and Senior Management in responding to RFPs
- Manage data integrity and maintenance of our Salesforce database
- Assist in Identifying sales targets
- Assist in lead generation, following up and delivering proposals
- Manage and organize sales decks to create turn-key templates
- Conduct client and market research to identify the following:
- Company financials, size, market, therapy, disease state, partnerships and competitive landscape of products.
- Key contacts from both corporate communications and brand/marketing teams
- Appropriate key conferences and annual meetings
- Product launches, new indications, new filings, clinical trials and studies
- Become an expert in Zoomedia offerings and capabilities as they relate to the Life Science market and the associated regulatory environment
- Attend industry events and support Zoomedia’s overall marketing efforts
- Compile and maintain competitive awareness reports
- Internal client correspondence.
Job Requirements:
BASELINE QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two years of digital agency experience and five years in a sales/marketing role
- A passion for sales: exceptionally resourceful, extremely motivated and dedicated with a professional and positive attitude!
- Superior written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills
- Experience writing proposals and marketing materials with minimum supervision
- A good understanding of interactive products and technologies
- Strong sense of project ownership, exercising creativity and critical thinking
- Experience in a healthcare communication agency highly preferred
