Job Title: Client Services Manager / Project Manager

Description:

The Client Services Manager is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and managing web development projects for the life sciences industry. The Client Services Manager manages the internal development team, which includes designers, engineers, and writers, and helps plan resource allocation. Knowledge base must include all current web technologies, best practices, web applications and internet usage trends. The Client Services Manager is responsible for risk assessment/mitigation, resource management, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget. The Client Services Manager is the primary liaison between the Company and the client on assigned projects and must reflect the utmost in professionalism and attention to detail.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing projects from inception through launch: project budgeting, scheduling, and project performance tracking
  • Maintaining updated project documentation: schedules, status reports, budget tracking, timesheets etc
  • Working with development team to assure effective, day-to-day communications with client
  • Completion of some production tasks (i.e., content management and input, copy writing, basic HTML, etc.)
  • Demonstrating initiative and resourcefulness to meet project milestones, internal team needs and clients expectations
  • Communicating with internal and client teams effectively to ensure expectations are set and all deliverables met on schedule and within budget
  • Meeting and managing budget goals for projects
  • Identifying and negotiating change orders
  • Ensuring stringent quality control process for all deliverables
  • Ensure a positive, collaborative work environment for the team
  • Construct clear, concise, error-free, communications (written and verbal) that provide details required for a specific audience (internal and client) including clear expectations/action requested, and relevant implications (i.e., timing, costs, etc.)

Job Requirements:

  • Managing small/mid-size interactive project engagements and website builds
  • A high level of comfort and confidence collaborating with senior team members both internally and externally, and presenting to C-level client teams
  • Experience managing graphic artists in an internal team environment and working with outside graphic talent
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • BA/BS required

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience with the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Acrobat
  • Managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Developing and implementing enterprise-wide web communications packages, including marketing web sites, eMarketing programs, extranets, and intranets
  • Good understanding of the digital production process (including web-based animation and web-distributed video)
  • Knowledge of web analytics issues, search engine marketing, and search engine optimization
  • A passion for all things interactive!
  • Four years experience working in an interactive agency
  • BA/BS required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Be results oriented, organized, highly motivated and detail-oriented with a high level of energy/high sense of urgency
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem solve
