Job Title: JavaScript Developer

Description:
A JavaScript Developer contractor opening for a life science interactive marketing communications company. Work in a team environment creating an interface rich, client-side application to meet the design requirements, integrating complex code with others on the development team.
Position type: contractor
Pay range: $60.00 per hour (for fixed number of hours)
Time frame:
- 400 total hours from November 2011 through April 2012, based on specific milestone deadlines
- Alpha Development (200 hours) | 14 November 2011 – 03 February 2012
- User Interface Testing (50 hours) | 6 February 2012 – 17 February 2012
- Beta Development (100 hours) | 5 March 2012 – 30 March 2012
- QA & Launch (50 hours) | 16 April 2012 – 26 April 2012
What you Need for this Position:
- Ability to build JavaScript/JQuery components and user interfaces for client project.
- Deliver compelling functionality in well formatted, well documented code.
- Ability to code quickly in multiple web-oriented technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, DHTML, CSS, JSON).
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the usability and design team to define prototypes of dynamic web pages and JavaScript components.
- Implement page designs in standards-compliant, dynamic HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Work closely with other developers to integrate functionality with the server.
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Extensive knowledge hand-coding HTML, AJAX, JavaScript and CSS.
- Good understanding of JavaScript libraries (e.g. jQuery, MooTools)
- Excellent communication skills.
