Senior Designer

Description:
As a Senior Designer, you will work as part of a team responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative and award-winning brand experiences for our clients. Your degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design, coupled with your expertise working with traditional design applications, will be crucial when collaborating with other designers, art directors, account managers, producers, writers, and the creative director for print, web, and motion graphics-based projects.
Core Responsibilities:
- Produce high quality visual solutions (in all forms of media) that merge business and customer needs with technological capabilities
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of interactive design principles and standards
- Work independently and under direction to produce creative on time and on budget
- Communicate efficiently with the project team throughout all stages of concepting and design
- Serve as creative lead on projects as required
- Portfolio review required that demonstrates a proven ability to develop integrated web, motion graphics, corporate/product identity, and print campaigns
- At least six to eight years as a graphic/interactive designer with at least two to four years of experience in web and motion graphic design
- Ability to create superior, original designs, and conceptual approaches in a fast-paced environment while working under the direction of an art director and/or the creative director
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of client deliverables, approved budgets, and the ability to take responsibility for them
- Proven expertise with advanced Flash Action Scripting and motion graphic design
- High level of proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, ImageReady, InDesign, Flash, and AfterEffects
- Working knowledge of HTML, DHTML, AJAX, and CSS
- Working knowledge of how to design for website content management systems
- Working knowledge of print design and production
- BA/BFA in either Graphic Design or Fine Arts
- Healthcare or life science advertising/design experience a huge plus
